The vibes are comfy.
Conversations are deep.
Our therapists are Black women.
Need we say more?

We help Black women embark on a healing journey with radical self-honesty, fearless authenticity, and a supportive spiritual sisterhood.

It all started when I realized I’m not just a therapist. I’m a Black therapist.
When I was getting my Psy.D. and training to become a licensed psychologist, I kept asking myself the same question: Where are all the Black clients?
It wasn’t until I started practicing independently and 98% of my clients were Black women that I realized our community was seeking therapy, but our “safe space” isn’t with just anyone — it’s with the small percentage of therapists who look like us.
To this day, women come to me and whisper, “I want a Black therapist.” And my response? [real loud] You don’t have to whisper! And you don’t have to explain. I understand, and that’s exactly why our team is here.

About Dr. Michelle
As the owner of Wasabi + Well, I’m on a mission to build a community of doers. I’m here to create a wellness community of people who practice radical self-honesty and learn to embrace their imperfections on a whimsical journey to healing and self-love.
When you feel stuck or unsure how to move forward, I’m the one who will come in with a question that totally shifts your perspective and makes every step forward feel like the right one.
I’ve always been an overly curious out-of-the-box thinker, and as a therapist, my superpower is making insightful connections. I’ll help you find safe & productive ways to challenge you to do things you never thought were possible.
Doctorate of Psychology from Alliant International University (2014), licensed in NY in 2015 and in FL in 2017.

About Victoria
An important part of the human experience is feeling understood as your authentic self. We want to know that our feelings are valid and understand why certain situations affect us the way they do. To further develop your sense of who you are in relation to yourself, your loved ones, and your environment, we will uncover your current narrative.
My priority is to collaborate with you to set goals and create a space where you feel respected, valued, and empowered to transform. Through sadness and laughter I will support you as you work towards healing and growth. The bravery to reach out for help is the first step and I look forward to taking the next steps with you.

Our philosophy is all about:
Joy for the sake of joy.
We believe Black women deserve lightness. When I say I want our community to live in whimsy, I’m talking about building lives filled to the brim with surprise, delight, and awe.
Radical self-honesty.
Because we don’t always know when we’re lying to ourselves. You’ll learn to practice radical self-honesty so the moves you make in your life feel authentic, impactful, and fully aligned.
Thinking & acting bigger.
When the world tells you you’re being too much, we empower you to say “Guess what? I want to be even MORE” and take intentional steps toward the things you deeply want, no matter how big or small.

Come chill with us.
Of course, by “chill” we mean tell us your biggest struggles, dive into deep reflections, and experience life-changing breakthroughs. That’s what chilling means, right?
